Our Assisted Living Program is set along the beautiful boardwalk of Long Beach, NY, in the historic building that was once the Hotel Ocean Crest! 24-hour care is available to seniors in a relaxed and inviting setting. Our staff is focused on making every resident feel at home. Health care needs are met in a comfortable and therapeutic environment.
Medicaid funding is available to those who qualify and are unable to pay privately.
WHAT IS ASSISTED LIVING?
An ALP (Assisted Living Program) is a facility that provides assisted living services to qualified individuals through the New York State Medicaid Program. Long Beach Assisted Living is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and offers 200 ALP-approved beds. Through Medicaid and our own LHSCA (Licensed Home Care Services Agency), we are able to supply personal care services and assistance with daily living activities at no expense to our residents or their families. With the facility’s assisted living program, we accept payment from SSA, SSI, and Medicaid to cover the full cost of a resident’s stay.
ASSISTED LIVING SERVICES
Our team members take pride in their work. Their schedules are consistent, allowing for families to get to know who is caring for their loved ones. Long Beach Assisted Living operates with the goal of providing quality care for seniors in a safe environment, mimicking the comforts of home. Families experience concern and uncertainty when making decisions regarding elderly care. We understand and value these concerns, and make it our duty to ease the transition.
Our mission is to afford security and care for the elderly while encouraging the greatest level of independence possible. Our facility offers a variety of services to meet the needs of every individual. We promote friendship between residents along with the personal care and daily living assistance they require. Residents are grateful for the affordable accommodations at Long Beach Assisted Living, which allows them to enjoy peace of mind in their advanced age.
FULL SERVICE DINING
Our menus are prepared by the Dietary Staff with the special nutritional needs of each resident in mind.
Long Beach Assisted Living adheres to Kosher Dietary Laws. As such, non-kosher foods are not permitted in the dining room. However, there are optional dining spaces for guests who wish to enjoy a non-kosher meal.
Our residents dine in a relaxing atmosphere while enjoying the breathtaking and resident coined, “Cruise Ship Ambiance” of Long Beach’s beautiful shore.
RECREATION
Our recreation staff works diligently to bring in the most diverse and fulfilling programming for our residents. We firmly believe in putting the life back in senior living. Some of the current programming that we offer includes:

LONG BEACH ASSISTED LIVING WELLNESS PROGRAM
At Long Beach Assisted Living, our Wellness Department is led by a duly licensed Registered Nurse. The Wellness staff also includes a Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor, certified Medication Technicians, and Home Health Aides.
The Wellness Department’s mission is to give exceptional care to all of our residents. It is their absolute commitment to encourage each resident to participate with their activities of daily living and other health and wellness related events for continued promotion of independence and sustained quality of life.
In addition, we also offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Medical specialties such as podiatry, optometry, cardiology, ENT, pain management, respiratory, endocrinology, gynecology, psychiatry, and psychology are regularly available. We believe that having necessary medical care available in-house is a great convenience to residents and their families.
OUR CARING TEAM
Located on the Long Beach Boardwalk, this updated, clean and well run facility employs a highly professional and empathetic staff; security and tenant oversight is excellent; the well prepared kosher food is wholesome, tasty and much appreciated by all of the residents.
When my good friend arrived back in 2016 the staff has always gone above and beyond to make his transition a smooth one. The staff continues to uphold a professional and sincere concern for his best interest, care and comfort. They always communicate with me when I have questions.

This place is great! Kelly and Avi took a stressful event and made it as painless as possible during a pandemic. My family and I were not able to help my sister move in but the staff helped her set up her room. When we first visited the facility to see if this was a place for my sister, it was evident that there are people live there were content as a few walked up to say hi to Kelly. It shows Kelly and Avi are very hands on. They took time to pair my sister up with a fellow Mets fan which shows they gave thought to who would be a good match for my sister. They found a roommate for my sister that made the transition easier on a scary event. Best move we ever did was to mover my sister in here. Definite piece of mind.

The comfort that I feel every time I walk through the main doors, is incredible. The food is great and the staff cares about my brother as if he was family. The management puts the resident first and I would highly recommend that you send a loved one here.
